Years of Experience
Shaping ventures, systems & builders defining Canadian innovation.

Hey, I'm Ken.
Hey, I’m Kendra — but most people just call me Ken.
I’ve spent over a decade at the intersection of innovation, investment, and impact — building ventures, movements, and ecosystems in pursuit of making Canadian innovation impossible to ignore.
Born and raised in the snowbanks of Winnipeg and now based in Vancouver, my journey started long before titles like “founder” or “advisor” ever entered the picture. It began with curiosity, a fascination with how ideas take shape, how systems break, and how people keep building anyway. What started as curiosity turned into a career spent helping founders transform chaos into momentum.
Over the last 13+ years I’ve worked to champion startups and innovation across Canada and beyond. I’ve built and advised more than 150 founders globally, launched 25+ ventures, and developed deep partnerships across tech, capital markets, and impact sectors. From Harvard’s Innovation Week to the late nights in coworking spaces that smell like caffeine and ambition, I’ve lived every side of the startup story — the risk, the rebuilds, the quiet wins.
Today at Kenergy™, I architect and scale ventures built on one belief: progress belongs to the builders.
Through Givly™ and ImpactCircle, I bridge business and philanthropy to create impact systems that actually work.
And with Founded in Canada, I’m uniting builders nationwide to amplify what’s already happening here — not someday, but now.
My work starts with a simple conviction: innovation should serve people, not the other way around. Which is why I now work to build systems that help founders move faster, dream louder, and build ventures that outlast noise.
Previously, I co-founded and led The Moken Group, where I forged partnerships across industries, closed global deals, and built digital products for founders worldwide. Those years taught me how to think like a builder and operate like a CEO — balancing grit and grace, vision and execution.
Outside the boardroom, I’m an avid cyclist, traveler, and explorer — constantly collecting stories, patterns, and ideas. Because innovation doesn’t just live in the office; it lives in motion.
At the heart of it all, I believe in building things that matter — not for permission, not for applause, but for progress. Every venture I touch is designed to outlast hype, empower people, and redefine what’s possible for the next generation of Canadian founders.
If you’re building something bold, messy, or meaningful — I want to hear about it.
Let’s build what doesn’t exist yet.
— Ken.
